Job Description

Our client is a fast-growing and stable startup in the space of hyper-converged storage with over 100m USD in VC funding. They are expanding the US sales team and seeking an experienced Account Executive with a strong technical background, to develop an enterprise customer base for their award-winning cloud storage platform. The ideal candidate would possess an equal balance of enterprise account management experience and territory/business development expertise.

This is a home-office based role located in NY/NJ/PA/MD/DC/VA.

Required Experience:
· About 10 years of experience in enterprise storage software sales
· Familiar with Cloud storage and networking technologies
· Thorough understanding of complex selling
· Selling background emphasizes overall ownership within your organization of the account to which you are selling
· Ideally have experience with both large and early-stage technology vendors
· Understanding of customer requirements & processes for storage solutions
· Able to drive deals from prospecting and pipeline development to closing (entire sales cycle)
· Excellent presentation, interpersonal and writing skills
· Self-starter, able to work independently (home office), extensive travel as may be required
· Able to foster long-term relationships, develop champions and drive the client purchasing process--

You will:
· Target and develop Fortune 1000 enterprise accounts in your region
· Source new accounts, either directly and/or by working closely with strategic alliance partners, including IBM, HPE, and Dell EMC
· Manage relationships at all levels within the targeted accounts
· Conduct solution presentations to customers and prospects
· Forecast and report opportunities in a timely manner
· Build trusted customer and partner relationships by interacting with and visiting on a regular basis
