Job Description

Our client is a leader in the field of UV wastewater and water
disinfection solutions providing innovative and effective technologies for the treatment of water, contributing to global water safety and sustainability.

They are looking to hire an experienced Business Development Manager to join their European team. This role will be responsible for expanding their reach by
developing strategic partnerships with water technology companies, engineering firms, and large water solutions integrators. This role is pivotal in enhancing their market presence and driving their business growth.

Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in the water technology sector, with a strong preference for experience in water treatment technologies.
Proven track record of successful business development, partnership building, and market expansion in the water technology industry in Western Europe.
Strong understanding of UV wastewater and water disinfection technologies.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
Identify and cultivate potential business opportunities with water technology
companies and engineering firms.
Develop and manage relationships with large water solutions integrators.
Craft and implement strategies for business development and partnership building.
Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and opportunities in the water treatment sector.
Collaborate with internal teams to align business development strategies with company goals.
Negotiate and close deals, ensuring alignment with the company’s objectives and financial guidelines.
Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events.
