Solutions Consultant (Presales) — Amsterdam
Our client is the fastest growing companies in its field. They are seeking an exceptional Solutions Consultant (Presales) based in their Amsterdam office to join their growing team. This role reports to their Director of Solutions Consulting and plays an integral part in creating a vision for their customers.
To succeed in this role, you must be able to articulate technology and communicate the value of their products to prospective business and technical users and buyers, with a focus on enterprise applications. You will also help shape the product and direction of the company by communicating market needs to the Product Management team.
Requirements
Qualifications / Experience / Technical Skills
3+ years of pre-sales experience in a SaaS organization
Strong background and knowledge in enterprise integration and automation across multiple verticals
Hands-on experience with automation technologies, middleware, integration architecture patterns, web services technologies, enterprise messaging patterns, APIs, and databases
Experience with cloud-based enterprise software and cloud infrastructure
Experience developing customer-specific value propositions and roadmaps
Familiarity with the enterprise integration and automation vendor landscape
Knowledge and understanding of how AI is reshaping enterprise software through agent-based capabilities — practical experience a plus
BA/BS or equivalent education; Computer Science a plus

Responsibilities
As a Solutions Consultant, you'll be part of their Global Solution Consulting team and architecture community, and own technical alignment with the customer during the pre-sales lifecycle through workshops and interactions that define the customer's future state for AI agents.
In this role, you will also be responsible for:
Owning the technical diagnosis, prescription, and validation phases of the sales cycle, providing a consultative approach in advising customers.
Teaming effectively with AEs, Solution Architects, and other functions to evangelize their platform, approach, and architecture tailored to the customer's business, and driving the technical sales stages to completion.
Working closely with Professional Services and Customer Success to make the solution a reality for the customer.
Articulating and educating on business, technical, and architectural concepts to a variety of audiences, including business and technical teams.
Creating and delivering custom product demonstrations to support the sales cycle.
Performing business and technical discovery with customer prospects, and architecting/building proposed solutions using their platform.
Successfully managing and executing technical workshops and proofs of concept (POCs), on-site or remote.
Responding to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs.
Collecting feedback from the field, synthesizing and analyzing it, and channeling it to Product Management and Engineering for the product roadmap.
Representing the product to customers and at field events such as conferences and seminars.
