Senior Front-End (React) Developer

They partner with global enterprises—especially in life sciences—to build AI-enabled solutions that improve decision-making, accelerate insights, and modernize commercial operations.
With established international delivery teams and continued expansion in Poland and Hungary, they are scaling our digital platforms and are looking for a Senior React Developer to build high-performance, enterprise-grade user interfaces in close collaboration with product, delivery, and business stakeholders. This is a full-time, remote position based in Poland or Hungary.
Role Overview
As a Senior React Developer, you will design, develop, and optimize frontend applications that power AI and analytics products. You’ll bring strong React expertise, solid frontend architecture judgment, and a practical UI/UX mindset to deliver clean, scalable, and responsive interfaces for complex, data-heavy workflows.
Key Responsibilities
Frontend Development & Architecture
- Design, build, and maintain scalable frontend applications using React and modern web technologies.
- Create reusable components and shared UI libraries to improve consistency and delivery speed.
- Apply sound frontend architecture patterns to ensure maintainability and extensibility.
- Translate product requirements and UI designs into responsive, user-friendly interfaces.
Performance, Quality & Standards
- Optimize for speed, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Uphold high engineering standards through code reviews, testing, and documentation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve UI defects and performance bottlenecks across devices.
Follow security, accessibility (WCAG), and usability best practices.
Collaboration & Integration
- Partner with backend engineers, data teams, product managers, and designers to deliver end-to-end features.
- Integrate frontend systems with REST APIs, GraphQL, and AI/ML-backed services.
- Contribute to sprint planning, technical discussions, and architectural decisions.
- Mentor junior developers and help strengthen frontend capability across the team.
Continuous Improvement
- Stay current with evolving frontend patterns, tools, and frameworks.
- Improve team standards, tooling, and workflows to raise quality and velocity.
- Participate in design and UX discussions to refine user experience.
Qualifications & Experience
- 6–10 years of frontend development experience, including strong hands-on work with React.
- Expert-level knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3.
- Experience with modern styling approaches (e.g., Tailwind, CSS-in-JS, SCSS).
- Strong grasp of the React ecosystem (e.g., Hooks, Context API, and state/data tools such as Redux, Zustand, React Query).
- Proven experience in responsive UI development, performance optimization, and cross-browser support.
- Hands-on experience integrating frontends with backend APIs.
- Familiarity with build tooling and pipelines (e.g., Webpack, Vite, Babel, CI/CD).
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Degree in Computer Science/Engineering (preferred, not mandatory if experience is strong).
