Job Description

 Country CTO (Field Technical Lead)

This is a rare opportunity to lead the technical expansion of our client, one of the fastest growing AI startups. You will have a massive influence on the product roadmap and the autonomy to build a regional powerhouse from the ground up.

About the Role

They provide a cutting-edge Enterprise AI Orchestration platform that enables global organizations to build, deploy, and monitor sophisticated AI agents. Our technology handles complex, multi-channel workflows—spanning voice, chat, and back-office systems—across any language or cultural context.

As the Field CTO, you will sit at the intersection of high-level strategy and deep-tier engineering. You aren't just a face for the sales team; you are a hands-on builder who can architect a solution in a boardroom and then ship the code to make it a reality.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Sales Sovereignty: Lead early-stage technical discovery, deliver high-impact demos, and navigate complex architecture and security reviews with enterprise stakeholders.

Hands-on Engineering: Serve as a lead contributor—shipping code, building bespoke integrations, and maintaining rigorous quality standards for production deployments.

Team Scaling: Recruit and mentor a high-performing technical organization across engineering, solution architecture, and pre-sales.

Deployment & Accuracy: Oversee the full lifecycle of customer integrations, ensuring AI agents meet strict production accuracy and performance KPIs.

Product Advocacy: Act as the bridge between the local market and global Product/Engineering teams, translating customer friction into product features.

Regional Leadership: Serve as the primary technical point of contact for the region, managing strategic partnerships and high-priority escalations.

Who You Are

The Builder: 8+ years of hands-on software engineering experience. You have a track record of building and shipping scalable systems.

The Translator: Proven experience in pre-sales, solution architecture, or "Forward Deployed" engineering. You can explain $O(n \log n)$ to an engineer and ROI to a CFO in the same hour.

The Leader: Strong leadership DNA with experience at the Director, VP, or Founder level. You know how to build a culture, not just a team.

The Operator: You thrive in "Zero-to-One" environments. You don't need a playbook; you enjoy writing it.

The Communicator: Fluent in English and at least one additional regional language.

Bonus Points: You have "startup skin"—you value ownership, speed, and impact over rigid titles and corporate hierarchy.
