Sales Manager Mexico

Location: Mexico

The successful candidate will handle sales of company products to increase company sales to new and existing customers while meeting profitability goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze Telecomm market in the geography to locate target organizations and decision makers and set priorities for approaching these
  • Must bring existing & current relationships in territory
  • Must have five (5) years of experience in transport/optical and access products to metro/regional carriers
  • In depth knowledge of transport/optical and access technical applications
  • Ability to present ECI product and service capabilities throughout the entire process of matching clients applications with tailored ECI solutions
  • Ability to present, create and track quarterly/yearly business plans on an ongoing basis
  • Prepare proposals to meet client needs and requirements including all technical details with the support of Pre-Sales Engineers
  • Conduct commercial negotiations with client up to contract signing, to ensure deal profitability
  • Maintain on-going relations with all clients at geographical area to ensure further opportunities are met in a timely manner

Education:  BS (computer science or engineering), MBA preferred.

Professional experience:

  • Must have deep regional knowledge of equipment vendors, system integrators and ability to identify potential partners
  • C-level customer relationship
  • Technical background in Transport telecommunication networks with good understanding of data and optical Networking (SDH, OTN, WDM, Ethernet, MPLS, IP, SDN)
  • Understanding of Data & Cellular networks is a key advantage
  • Ability to work in a collaborative way with various groups within the organization
  • Highly motivated and self-driven attitude. Perform responsibilities in a pro-active manner without the need for frequent supervision
  • Exceptional communication written, verbal and presentation skills
