The Sales Engineer will work closely with Sales managers, prospects and partners as a subject-matter expert to demonstrate how a proposed solution meets and exceeds customer requirements, working closely with global sales teams.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Participate in sales conference calls and prospect visits, providing product demonstrations in person and via WebEx, and working with prospects at both a technical and business level
  • Ability to demonstrate and install a full working environment on customer site for demo and evaluation purposes and participate as a technical resource at trade shows and conferences, when needed.
  • Work independently and as a vital member of a sales team.
  • Ensure successful on-site product evaluations and installations.
  • Plan, manage and execute customer product pilots and generate a technical report for the customer.
  • Answer RFPs and RFIs and write technical documents and partners training.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years’ experience as sales engineer in the IT security software industry a must as well as working with large enterprise
  • Experience with Windows networks, especially with Active Directory and authentication mechanisms, knowledge of
  • TCP/IP, HTTP, proxies and firewalls.
  • Able to effectively present technical material/train large groups including executive level audience.
  • BSc degree in Computer Science or related field – advantage
  • Willing to travel within DACH
  • Strong initiative, energetic, motivated to makes things happen
  • Excellent written, oral communication and strong interpersonal, organizational and presentation skills in English
  • Excellent time management, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills, team player
