Our client is a well-funded startup (30+ employees globally) in a unique space. They are looking for an excellent and passionate, hands-on senior sales professional to develop, grow and manage sales in North America and internationally and to drive business to a higher level of performance.

Responsibilities:
• Strategic sales activities – develop strategic partnerships with large agribusiness customers, develop pricing and distribution plan
• Managing the sales team - Hire, train and manage a global Sales Team
• Lead US and international Sales.
• Develop and expand the market – this includes identifying new opportunities and sales strategies for new products expected in the future. e-commerce sales

Requirements:
• At least 10 years of experience in sales within the agriculture industry - A MUST, preferred fertilizer, crop protection chemicals, seed companies experience
• A proven record of selling and developing strategic partnerships
• Experience in building and managing a global sales organization (i.e. employees, budget, remote office, contracts, etc.)
• Relationship-oriented person – it’s all about people, about relationships, trust, confidence, chemistry, etc. 
• Talented at generating leads and driving to closure
• Leadership – build and lead a winning team
● Strong interpersonal, oral, presentation and written communication skills
● Ability to manage extensive travel schedule (up to 50% required)
● Managing promotional activities related to sales such as trade shows, field demonstrations, and educational sessions.
