Presales Engineer CRM and CX

Location: Boston, USA

Our client is a leading digital self service customer experience startup expanding in the USA.

Job Description:

  • Working with Sales Account Executives, engage sales prospects in discussion to evaluate business need and technical suitability of the solution.
  • Create custom demonstrations that incorporate our best capabilities in a way that shows prospects how the solution can meet or exceed their business requirements.
  • Work closely with Sales in developing and presenting the solution to prospects from the beginning of the sales cycle all the way to closure and then facilitate the transition to Customer Success for deployment.
  • Your ability to listen is your best asset, and your creativity will be your most effective skill in working with prospects who may be seeing the solution for the first time when you present it to them.

Deliverables:

  • Participate in prospect introductory meetings and gather and evaluate prospect’s business needs and requirements.
  • Develop ROI based on analysis of customer metrics and performance in accounts with a similar business profile.
  • Create and deliver customized demonstrations in support of the sales process.
  • Create transition plans to move customer from Sales to deployment with the Customer Success team.
  • Mastery of all Sales, Pre-Sales, and Marketing collateral for use in prospect engagements.

Experience and Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3+ years of direct pre-sales experience for a SaaS software company or equivalent experience.
  • Familiarity with eCommerce, Customer Experience, CRM, and Call Center technologies.
  • Experience presenting to large mid-market and enterprise-level prospects and a proven track record of being key player in landing large contracts.
  • 20%-30% travel, some overseas. Valid passport required.
  • Ability to work quickly, across several time zones, and manage multiple prospects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work creatively with high-energy colleagues in a start-up environment.
  • Ability to analyze customer requirements, develop an ROI, and demonstrate capabilities in support of the proposed solution.
  • Team player with the highest level of integrity who can work independently, but bring talent and insight when collaborating with colleagues.
