Nordic Sales Manager - Medical Imaging Capital Equipment

Based in Scandinavia or Baltics

 

Maximize orders, sales, and market share in the Nordics countries (Denmark, Finland, Sweden, Norway, and Iceland) and potentially Baltic countries. Drive visibility, awareness and market proliferation in the allocated territories. Collaborate with Product managers in Oncology, Neurology and Women's Health, as well as our business partners to drive sales and orders.

Main objectives and activities:

  • Develops and implements strategic sales plans for his/her territory to accommodate corporate goals,
  • Achieve company orders and sales goals in accordance to the company plan,
  • Execute market survey in the territories to define and target appropriate customers,
  • Deliver sales presentations to key clients and strategic accounts by her-/himself,
  • Represents the company at congresses and meetings to promote products,
  • Serves as liaison and manage the relations with the company´s potential distributors/ business partners,
  • Prepares periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion using companies´ CRM-tool.
  • Monitors and evaluates the activities and products of the competition.
  • Estimated travel time: 75 %

Education, Experience

  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in the Medical Devices industry (Sales of expensive capital imaging equipment to hospitals - 1m usd per equipment and up).
  • Proven track-record in large capital sales and closing business. Ideally in selling a disruptive technology.
  • Extensive knowledge about markets and its dynamics in one or more of the following areas is a plus: Neurosurgery, Neurology, Radiation Oncology, Oncology or Women´s Health (Gynecology), interventional Radiology.
  • Robust network in one or more of the above mentioned areas favorable.
  • Business Development experience a plus.
  • Self-starter and a team player.
  • Structured, conceptual thinking yet able to be hands-on.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • High level of integrity.
  • Creative in finding solutions, problem-solver.
  • Residence in a Nordic country and experience in reporting to an international HQ.
