Business Unit Manager - Water Filtration and Treatment

Job location: London or Amsterdam, 

 

The client is a leading global producer of automatic, self-cleaning water filtration products, solutions and water treatment systems for industry, municipal, oil and gas, ballast and irrigation water markets.

The Business unit will position and brand the products and systems into the specified market, at the global EPC'S, OEM's, engineering firms and key alliances, develop competitiveness and strong marketing and selling capabilities through creating value Customers. The BU manager will be a member of the company management team and has full BU responsibility with sales forecast, budget and investments. Directly lead 10+ subordinate managers and other employees: market segments, Business Development managers that are located in HQ and over the world, technical and field services team and a matrix management of the sales teams and BD in the territories.

Responsibilities :

  1. Develops and executes full strategic sales and marketing plans and solutions for assigned business unit products and solutions.
  2. Responsible for increasing and tracking company market share, leads, pipe-line and orders.
  3. Support and educate the sales teams and segments managers with sales tool kits, including but not limited to : Competition bench marking,  pricing, promoting, branding, white papers , road shows, piloting and application with solution case study handbooks.
  4. Coordination with R&D for  solution criteria to be incorporated in  product development specifications and road maps.
  5. Set up and coordination  of segment marketing  sales & marketing activity  in the territories when relevant.
  6. Establish long term OEM agreements to supply our solutions.
  7. Corporate account management  : coordination of solution /product selection, pricing  and marketing to top EPC and Corporate clients.
  8. Promoting and developing Global process  and joint  venture agreements.

Requirements:  

  1. Ability to lead a dynamic group from different geographies in EMEA, Asia, Americas a MUST.
  2. Water market experience with experience at one of the mentioned fields a MUST: O&G/Desalination/BW/Filtration .
  3. Engineering Bachelor's degree and MBA – preferred.
  4. 10 years of global commercial and business experience in the relevant markets a MUST.
  5. Proven P&L leadership Experience in double digit millions a MUST.
