Oracle Technical Support Engineer - NYC

Location: New York City

Our client is a world leader in cloud-based software testing automation solutions for SAP and Oracle ERP customers, and one of the fastest growing startups in the high tech industry offering businesses groundbreaking Saas solutions.

As a member of the support team, your goal will be to provide fast and friendly world-class support. We are looking for a customer oriented person with superior communications skills and proven technical background.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain ownership of cases until resolved; collaborate with other teams as needed and set customer expectations.
  • Provide problem analysis and resolution for remote customer base.
  • Ensure support cases are handled in a timely manner and escalated to R&D if necessary.
  • Become a subject matter expert in our SaaS products (on premise installation components and cloud components)
  • Provide accurate and timely feedback for purposes of measuring, tracking and driving continuous service level and product improvements.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree, with a minimum of 2 years of technology preferably (Computer Science, Information Systems or related fields)
  • At least 3 years’ experience with customer support or customer service in software companies.
  • Experience with Oracle application (implementation\development\DBA)
  • Experience in providing support to a SaaS application – Must
  • Troubleshooting capabilities in Java environment
  • Internet security and advance settings knowledge
  • Work effectively in a high pressure, business critical situation.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, strong attention to detail and self-motivation.
  • Good understanding of software development processes.
  • Excellent multitasking skills.
  • Superior communications skills.
  • Process oriented and compliant.
  • Ability to travel to customers’ sites if required
