Our client is a leader in innovative water treatment urgently looking for an experienced Sales Manager to cover the Municipal market. This is a home-office based position with frequent travel and the possibility to be promoted to Sales Director within 18-24 months.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a market for disinfection with UV based on providing value to the
  • customer that ensures regulatory compliance over the long term.
  • Analyze state drinking water data to find potential customers and approach them directly
  • Develop opportunities using both traditional and social media networks.
  • Maintain an active presence on social media and at shows and develop and follow up on leads;
  • Respond to municipal bids, strategize how to win and use team resources to
  • actively compete in the marketplace
  • Follow up with all municipal installations to track operation and reliability of our sites, sell
  • value added services and assure that every site is glad to be a reference.

Education and skills:

  • Environmental engineering or other engineering education,
  • MBA an advantage
  • Data centered, skilled in translating data into actionable objectives and solutions
  • Cross cultural orientation and ability to interface effectively with HQ office
  • Ability to interact effectively with people in all levels of technical and scientific knowledge
  • Enthusiastic, expert and effective presenter
  • Ability to read and understand technical specifications quickly and sift through technical
  • requirements to analyze key requirements and write proposals
