Account Executive – Cloud Storage (West Coast)

Location: flexible in West Coast, USA

About the company:

Our client is an emerging leader in the enterprise cloud storage space urgently looking for an Account Executive to cover the Northeast.

Responsibilities and tasks:

  • Target and develop Fortune 500 enterprise accounts in your region.
  • Work closely with strategic alliance partners.
  • Manage relationships at all levels within the targeted accounts.
  • Conduct presentations to customers and prospects.
  • Forecast and report opportunities in a timely manner.
  • Interface with customers for requests, and visit on a regular basis.
  • Collaborate with internal resources/team members to enable successful execution of closed deals and ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications required:

  • Min 5 years of experience in enterprise storage/software sales.
  • Proven understanding of cloud storage and networking technologies.
  • Able to drive deals from prospecting and pipeline development to closing (entire sales cycle).
  • Excellent presentation, interpersonal and writing skills.
  • Self-starter, able to work independently (home office), extensive travel.
  • Capable of solving critical issues in a timely manner.
  • Able to foster long-term relationships, develop champions and drive the client purchasing process.
