Presales and Post Sales Software Engineer

Location: Based NYC (Garment District)

 

Our client is a world leader in fashion design software solutions.

Responsibilities include:

  • Support and lead pre and post sales technical activities in the region
  • Provide first tier customer support via phone/email/web and occasionally onsite by solving software and hardware installation and related issues
  • Review client’s technology requirements and create presentation content based on that
  • Conduct presentations at customer’s site or via web
  • Assist sales team in acquiring new customers
  • Provide basic and advanced training to customers
  • Attend trade shows, customer presentations

Must-have Qualifications:

  • 3+ yrs presales and/or postsales support experience in software companies a must 
  • Proven experience in textile and fashion industry a must
  • Proven experience with pattern making/tech design/3D simulation software a must
  • Result driven personality - a must
  • Superior presentation, interpersonal, writing and communications skills 
  • Ability to work with MS Office, Google Drive and Salesforce.com
  • Able to work under pressure in a multi-tasking environment and willing to travel as needed

Advantage to have

  • Experience with CAD software
  • Experience with well-known pattern design software such as Lectra, Gerber, Assyst, FK etc
  • Fluent Spanish an advantage
